Summary

All giving URLs should be associated with a 4WARD Campaign; this Giving URL Request from should only be used if you need a URL for a SINGLE DONOR. Other URL requests should start with a 4WARD Campaign Request.

A pre-filled giving URL allows you to link directly to a fundraising page for a particular fund on supportuw.org. This form allows you to request giving URLs for easy sharing with donors. If you need to add, remove, or edit a fund listed on supportuw.org, please use our Online Giving Fund Request form. If you do not need a giving URL, but are sending a solicitation, please use our 4WARD Campaign Request form.

Please note the following before using this form:

  • This form is for URL requests for a SINGLE DONOR; if you are soliciting more than one donor, please use the 4WARD Campaign Request form where you can request a Campaign and URL at the same time.
  • If you need a non-vanity giving URL for a fund that is already featured in search results on supportuw.org, you can use our Giving URL Builder.
  • If you need to add, remove, or edit a fund listed on supportuw.org, please use our Online Giving Fund Request form.
  • All giving URLs should be associated with a Campaign; please start with the 4WARD Campaign Request form
  • To view this form, please provide a valid UWF fund number.
  • Note that if you are creating a giving URL that will be used by multiple donors, we will ask you to submit information about your fundraising effort so that we are able to track the results.

  • Use this form to request long or short URLs for your fundraising effort. Short (also known as 'vanity') URLs are often used to create an online giving opportunity for the recipient of a mail solicitation. The donor will type the full short URL into their browser and be redirected to a page where they can make their gift, often with the fund designation pre-selected. Long giving URLs are often used to create a digital giving opportunity via email or on the web, whether through linked text, or by embedding the link in a 'DONATE' or 'GIVE NOW' button.

  • A 4WARD Campaign must be used to track the number of gifts and dollars raised through your planned solicitation. These Campaigns follow a naming convention of Unit_Year_CampaignName. Your selections below will allow us to build your Campaign in 4WARD.
