Key Importance
Our constituents expect a great experience when they engage with us and when they give through digital channels. We provide this through SupportUW.org online giving and our JumpStart crowdfunding platform – making it easy for donors to support your priorities and the university. Online giving makes donating to any area of the university accessible for all. With touch-of-a-finger fundraising these platforms meet different needs for you and our constituents. Future enhancements to SupportUW.org will likely include support for digital wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.
On supportuw.org, anyone can give to the university, campus unit, program that is important to them, in a matter of minutes. While donors can give to any fund via the online giving app, we only list a subset of funds (about 1,500) in search. These are the funds that we know to be of broad donor interest or those that a team member has requested we add. Please let us know if there’s a fund you’d like added to the search or if you need a link to pre-fill a fund.
A pre-filled giving URL allows you to link directly to a fundraising page for a particular fund on supportuw.org. This form allows you to request giving URLs for easy sharing with donors. If you need to add, remove, or edit a fund listed on supportuw.org, please use our Online Giving Fund Request form. If you do not need a giving URL, but are sending a solicitation, please use our 4WARD Campaign Request form.
WFAA can also customize some aspects of the online giving form to help ease the jump from your channels—email, website, etc. and to improve reporting. This includes changing the background image, some copy points, and even hiding some form elements to match particular use cases.
